We're hiring! BT Murrayfield Stadium is the largest sports venue in Scotland and the location of many thrilling international rugby matches. BT Murrayfield also welcomes many large international artists, from the Rolling Stones to Madonna. We have 2 exciting roles on offer within the hospitality sales department. MATCH DAY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – EDINBURGH – BT MURRAYFIELD

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for growing turnover and seasonal match day hospitality sales through proactive sales and marketing activities.

Experience of direct sales is required. Knowledge of corporate hospitality is desired however full industry training will be given. You will report directly to the Head of Hospitality Sales and be based inside the stadium. You will be expected to proactively arrange client meetings and attend networking events to grow our business and showcase our hospitality to new prospects.

 

Site/Location: BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh

 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with the team to hit event specific sales targets

Create and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities

Contact existing clients to upsell new opportunities

Responding appropriately to incoming enquiries and chasing to conclusion

Prepare quotes, contracts and event proposals for all types of hospitality

Monitor trends within industry

Implement event specific marketing plans

Update social media and respond to messages

Liaise with key departments and stakeholders within Scottish Rugby and Elior

Build internal relationships, with Scottish Rugby, to enable smooth delivery of services

Build external relationships to attract both sales and talent to the company.

Meeting clients and assisting with guest experience on match days

Be willing to help with all aspects of event planning when required
